No. 1 on Thanksgiving

"Gratitude unlocks the fulness of life.  It turns what we have into enough, and more, it turns deinal into acceptance, chaos to order, confusion to clarity. It can turn a meal into a feast, a house into a home, a stranger into a friend. Gratitude makes sense of our past, brings peace for today, and creates a vision for tomorrow." -Melody Beattle

It's Thanksgiving, so I ought to list out here all the things I am grateful for. But really there are far too many for that, and I am mostly overwhelmed with thanksgiving for just one thing today. I'm thankful for salvation - that the Creator sent His Son to be my righteousness, and that in Him I have been allowed to take refuge.

This is what I am thankful for.

"Whom have I in heaven but you?
And besides you, I desire nothing on earth.
My flesh and my heart may fail,
But God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.
For, behold, those who are far from you will perish;
You have destroyed all those who are unfaithful to you.
But as for me, the nearness of God is my good;
I have made the Lord God my refuge,
That I may tell of all your works."
-Psalm 73:25-28
