1 Peter 3:3-4 says, Whose adorning let it not be that outward adorning of plaiting the hair, and of wearing of gold, or of putting on of apparel; But let it be the hidden man of the heart, in that which is not corruptible, even the ornament of a meek and quiet spirit, which is in the sight of God of great price. Beauty is not in what we wear or what we look like, beauty is what God is doing in our lives and what He is making us.
In Psalm 29:2 we are commanded to worship the Lord in this beauty. Give unto the Lord the glory due unto His name; worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness. The beauty of holiness, that is what God sees, that is what God wants to see. Our heart is what is most important to Him. He is making us beautiful, if we focus on being beautiful in holiness we will shine from the inside out.
