Wow! This one really made me think! The world could be a much better place if only we took our jobs as the salt and light of the earth seriously. We are meant to preserve the world from decay, to be a light in the immense darkness. Are we taking this calling seriously? Do we really realize how vital our witness is to preserving the earth and it's inhabitants from self destruction? We must remind ourselves daily of our sacred calling and duty. I pray that we would learn how important our witness is on this earth. That our complacency and passivity would not constitute to the danger we face, but that our passion and genuine concern for others would make a marked difference for the Kingdom of Heaven!
