The first way in which God has revealed Himself to us is through His Creation. Take a look at the world around you, what do you see? I see beauty, grandeur, and the care of a personal Creator. I see vast oceans stretching as far as the eye can see, blood red sunsets that leave me gaping, the greenest grass, and so many other show-stopping, beautiful pieces of God's creation.
How can people say that this all happened by accident? How can anybody say that this gorgeous, complex world and everything in it is the product of chance? Well, they do. Unfortunately many people would rather invent and believe crazy stories about the origin of the universe than admit that there exists an all-knowing, powerful God who loves them.
Romans 1:19-20 says, Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath showed it unto them. For the invisible things of Him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse. God has shown His glory to man clearly through His creation. Those who witness the workings of this amazing place called earth are, " without excuse", the Bible says.
God has made this entire universe solely for our benefit! He wants us to know Him through it!
Spend some time surrounded by God's creation, be inspired by His perfect design. Marvel at a tree, or a flower, or the song of a bird. Do not get so busy that you fly by God's creation without thanking Him for caring so much for you. Who knows, you may find yourself knowing Him better, and drawing closer to Him.
