I know not how God works His purpose out,
But this I know, He'll bring His plans about.

I know not how He makes my spirit whole,
But this I know, He satisfies my soul.

I know not how His grace will conquer sin,
But this I know, His victory He will win.

I know not how His nature He'll impart,
But this I know, He'll fill the longing heart.

I know not how my strength He will renew,
But this I know, His promises are true.

I know not how His Word He will fulfill,
But this I know - He's promised and He will.
