Life

Life is not all romance and spirituality; in fact, a great deal of it is quite mundane. Like waking up with a sore throat, unable to speak, or stubbing one's toe. Where is the stardust and adventure in that? Yet really, when we look at life, one grand adventure, we see that it is made up of a lot of mundane moments that would never be fit to be included in a novel or a film, and only several of those spectacular, spine-tingling moments. Therefore, by common observation, perhaps we can conclude that it is the dull moments, rather than the breathtaking ones, that equal the sum total of life's adventure. I cannot be quite certain, but because it is a possibility, I for one want to try to enjoy and treasure life, namely the mundane moments, because even they represent the gift of grace.
